Investigation into the Death of Nancy CooperKurtz & Blum is assisting Brad Cooper with the investigation into the death of his wife, Nancy Cooper. On July 12th, 2008, at approximately 7:00 a.m. she left her house at 104 Wallsburg Ct. in Cary to go running. Between 10:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. that same morning, Brad spoke with two of Nancy's friends and determined that Nancy was not with either of them. Brad, along with friends, searched for Nancy around the Lochmere neighborhood. At about 2:00 p.m., one of Nancy's friends called the Cary Police Department and reported her missing. Subsequently, their efforts were joined by those of the Cary Police Department. On July 14th, 2008, at 7:35 p.m., a body was found in a drainage pond at the end of an undeveloped cul-de-sac off Fielding Dr. near the Cary neighborhood of Lochmere by a man walking his dog. The Medical Examiner has reported that the body was that of Nancy Cooper and that he believed her death to be a homicide. Few additional details have been released or confirmed by the police. The cause of death has not yet been made public. Brad has cooperated extensively with law enforcement in an attempt to find the killer or killers. Nancy Cooper is described as a white female, 5 feet 9 inches tall and about 120 pounds. She has hazel eyes and brown hair. She was last seen wearing a T-shirt, running shorts and light blue running shoes. Below are two photos of Nancy:
