Fees in Injury Cases

How Contingent Fees Work in Personal Injury Cases

I do not charge any consultation fee when I meet or speak with you about your injury case. In most injury cases, such as car or truck accidentsworkers’ compensation claims and legal malpractice actions, the legal fees are contingent fees. You don’t pay me out of your pocket for the work I do on your case. My fee is “contingent” on, or depends on, what outcome we achieve in your case. The attorney’s fees I receive will be a percentage of the total recovery. The better your recovery, the more it benefits the both of us. I would not want to take a case that I don’t believe in because if we don’t recover, I won’t get paid for my work.

What this means is that if we take you on as a client, when we sign a contract for me to represent you in your injury case, I’m showing you how much I believe in your case.

Our personal injury lawyers help people throughout North Carolina. We frequently handle cases arising out of the following counties: Cumberland, Alamance, Chatham, Vance, Forsyth, Orange, Lee, Wake, Wayne, Guilford, Person, Granville, Vance, Nash, Edgecombe, Harnett, Durham and Johnston.

Of course, we also take on cases from the cities and towns in our own backyard of Wake County, North Carolina including: Rolesville, Zebulon, Wendell, Morrisville, Garner, Cary, Fuquay-Varina, Knightdale, Raleigh, Holly Springs, New Hope, Wake Forest and Apex.
