Kurtz & Blum Family Law Fees

Family Law Fees for Domestic Cases Are Billed at an Hourly Rate

Domestic cases involve the most private details of people’s lives. What happens in a custodyalimonyequitable distribution or child support case depends entirely on those personal details and the people involved. Because some cases can be settled quickly and some can take months or years, the attorney’s fees are billed at an hourly rate. That way, you only pay for what you need and you stay in control of the cost.

Your confidential consultation is scheduled for an hour, and you pay a discounted rate for the initial consultation. When we meet, I will advise you based on what you share with me; I won’t simply listen and offer no solutions unless you sign a contract.

If you decide that you’d like for me to help you, you will need to make a trust deposit before I can begin work on your case. The trust deposit serves as a retainer and a security deposit. The amount of the trust deposit depends on the kind of case you have and what work needs to be done. After your case has been completed and your attorney’s fees are paid in full, your remaining trust deposit is returned to you.

Our North Carolina family law attorneys help people throughout Wake County, North Carolina. We frequently handle offenses arising out of the following cities: New Hope, Wendell, Apex, Zebulon, Rolesville, Wake Forest, Garner, Morrisville, Holly Springs, Fuquay-Varina, Raleigh, Cary and Knightdale.
