Concerned About Coronavirus? We’re Able to Speak with You 24/7!

Update: As of 4 p.m. ET on Friday, June 19th, masks are required when meeting in-person or within our offices.

We all have a duty to keep ourselves, our families, our neighbors, and our communities safe right now. This means temporarily reshaping the way we live our lives to combat the novel coronavirus (COVID-19). We, at Kurtz & Blum, are taking this duty seriously and are practicing the “social distancing” guidelines recommended by health officials.

Currently, our attorneys can still meet prospective new clients in the office, but we will be “greeting with elbow bumps rather than handshakes,” attorney Seth Blum says. “In most cases, we do initial intake via phone and can send contracts via [an e-signature software].”

“We plan to stay open for as long as we are allowed, but even if we are forced to close, we will still be available by phone and email,” Blum continues.

During this challenging time, our attorneys and staff remain available to talk about your legal issues over the phone. “Clients will always talk to a live person, no matter what time of day they call”.

Across the nation, people are limiting in-person contact as much as possible to help slow the spread of the virus and allow our health care system to operate within its capacity. The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention continues to provide important guidance about what we all can do to protect ourselves and others from exposure. (Visit the CDC website for the most up-to-date information and recommendations.)
