Hammett is an experienced trial attorney who has ample experience in family matters, including defending individuals accused of child abuse. He brings with him more than a decade of relevant legal experience he plans to put to good use at Kurtz & Blum.

Jared Hammett has extensive courtroom experience, having tried hundreds of cases and appearing in at least 40 North Carolina county courthouses. He has successfully represented clients in Superior and District Courts, as well as in other forums. Hammett has more than a decade’s worth of legal experience in diverse practice areas. In addition to his extensive trial experience, Hammett is also a skilled negotiator. Hammett received his J.D. from the University of North Carolina School of Law and his B.A. in Political Science from North Carolina State University, graduating magna cum laude.
